I Prefer Nightime

recently over easter weekend I've been staying up till like 4, 5 am. This has caused me to sleep till like 1pm. Although I found I liked gaming and stuff better later at night. This is most likely due to the fact that no one disturbs me and it's quite quiet. Compared to during the day when I have my mother yelling at me to do stuff people contacting me over msn/xfire and my sister running in demanding to play Wii. My question to you is what do you prefer nightime or daytime?

    I typically work from about 3 or 4 pm until about 6 or 7 am. I am a HUGE night owl. Like you, it's quiet time for me -- the boys are in bed, and there's no one to disturb me. But even before I was a mum, I was still more active at night. I have very fitful sleep most nights -- waking up about every hour and such, sometimes just plagued with long bouts of insomnia. So pushing myself until I'm ready to pass out and have no choice but to sleep helps me cure that.

    I go where I please, and I please where I go

    I'd stay up later if it didn't make me so fucked the following day. If I'm tired, I can sleep through the daytime, but sadly the rest of the world disagrees with me. I don't function well with tiredness, and I have been known to wake up at 2-3 in the afternoon with a serious keyboardface not knowing what the hell I'm supposed to be doing.

    nighttime for me, except that I usually have school the next day, and I have to get up at like 5:30a.m. to get there on time. Both me and my younger brother are in HS, and he takes FOREVER in the shower, lol.
    so yeah, night time gaming is more fun, but less practical in my case.

    Oh yeah man. I have been more productive at night my entire life. My parents used to gripe at my when I was in my teens about being up too late, and I would tell them that I just like it more, but they didn't like to hear that, and told me that I would grow out of it.

    Never did. :)

    So now whenever it remotely comes up I like to throw it back in their faces. :P

    If most of us didn't have day jobs, most of the Napalm team would most likely all work at night. In fact most of us still do. :P

    Yup I'm a night owl. Everyone else in the house is out by 9/10 and that's when my night starts. Whether it's doing homework or just relaxing, there's no one to bother me. Can't stand people buzzing around the house, it kills my concentration.

    Pshaw, sleeping at 5 doesn't mean you wake up at 1! You're supposed to wake up by 12, at most. :D Sleep is overrated.

    Definitely a night owl. Trying to get an overnight job right now, actually. I get on average three or four hours of sleep a night 'cause I got to bed at about 7-8am and wake up around 11 or 12 usually.

    To put it simply, I hate the sun... Always gets in my eyes and it's such a pain.

    For the high school problem, if your parents aren't close minded to abnormal things (like mine partially are), when you get home and are done with after school activities, just go to bed. Wake up at like 11PM -3AM most likely refreshed etc. and then get everything done. You'll be more awake for school and will probably get better grades. Wish I could try doing that for a week, it'd probably help.

    I'm a night owl, it's quieter, darker, no annoying sun to put massive amounts of glare on your screen, everyone else is asleep. It's great. I only wish I could stay up late everynight.
