Hah... I'm glad I stopped WoW... Raiding was so time consuming and in general I think back how tim consuming it was to be dragged into the game, then eventually all that hard work brings you to new content which pretty much nullifies everything you've done... Like TBC... And if you wanted to really push through the game with quality players you needed to be in a top guild, which meant being on a lot. Meh. QQ more I suppose.
I actually plan on coming back and not even playing any of my old characters, I'm making a death knight and bringing him to 80. That's it.

Thats the thing, I'd do it for the gear. I didn't have the time to push in a top guild to bragging rights. You know in every guild there are the moron bad raiders and the truly exceptional raiders. Well I felt I was an exceptional raider, and if I pushed it I could have been in a top raiding guild but I didn't want to invest the time. Then in my actual guilds I'd be the top dog in terms of DPS (mage). But when I had to cut back on raiding and watch others take my spot and get loot I got really jealous.
... It's a vicious cycle.

I am pretty sure that a few fuck ups there were on purpose just to aggravate this asshole. I would have told him to stuff his almighty guild about 1/4 down he first column of bullshit there.
I had a guild master in a guild where we were raiding TK and SSC and one tuesday attendance was off and the raid never got going so he just did a /gdisband *poof* like that 15 or 20 of us (not the ones that rotated in and out) that were regular were back at ground zero looking for a new guild that might need our specialty and have a raid spot open.
I was a lucky one. I went from a #36 guild to the #7 guild, #5 alliance guild on our server. I made the jump straight to Hyjal and Black Temple. Real endgame stuff. One shot boss downings regularly. But.. they were complete knowitall assholes and it made me not even want to play. They were nice about it but an asshole is an asshole and I came to realize I actually respected the guy like this one in your picture more than the one that was sly and subversive in his comments.
In the end I simply left that server.. a 70 Resto Shaman BT raid healer just hanging there not to be played anytime soon. I went to a pvp server with some RL friends that were capped at level 60 and play 4 toons at my leisure. We have our own 3 man guild with like 15 toons in it and we share everything. No worries, no cares, no BS. The game is fun agan.

Thing is you need to be lvl 55 to keep your toon if you take an extended leave. The work goes on.
